The Other A & B Paper: Students Are Rewarded for Efforts by Blue Eagle CU

ROANOKE, Va.– Students earning an A or B, or the equivalent, on their final report card can now receive Report Card Rewards from Blue Eagle Credit Union. Each year, as a part of its “quest to elevate and support education,” the $250-million Blue Eagle Credit Union said it pays thousands of dollars in rewards to students for their hard work in getting good grades.

“Education is foundational to being successful in life. Having more knowledge equips you for reaching your next goal, whether it’s work related, financially related, or in something you love to do in life — like sports or the arts or a healthier lifestyle,” Blue Eagle Credit Union Senior Brand Specialist Laurissa Thompson said in a statement.

Membership Coupon Offered

According to the credit union, annually in May, June and July, students with a Blue Eagle Credit Union account bring in final report cards to receive their financial rewards. If a student doesn’t have a Blue Eagle Credit Union account, the credit union provides a coupon on its Education Programs page to open an account at no cost to the student. It also offers the coupon for adult members.
