Elevations CU Shows Teachers Some Appreciation

BOULDER, Colo.–As part of Teacher Appreciation Week, Elevations Credit Union provided support in two school districts.

In the St. Vrain Valley School District, Elevations visited Northridge Elementary School to provide lunch for teachers for two days. Additionally, teachers received tote bags filled with essential supplies and goodies to support their daily activities and well-being.

In the Poudre School District, Elevations awarded $200 gift cards to five outstanding teachers, each from a school that participated in the student health challenge UC Health 5210+. Furthermore, Elevations Credit Union sponsored a coffee cart at PSD headquarters during State Classified Employee Appreciation Week, offering refreshments to staff members.

Elevations also conducted two financial wellness presentations during Poudre School District’s Professional Development Day. ECU said the sessions aimed to empower educators with knowledge and tools to manage their finances effectively. The credit union hosted a $50 gift card drawing to a local bookstore, encouraging teachers to invest in their personal growth and development.

“We are honored to support the dedicated educators in our community,” said Aimee Sundstrom, who leads community events at Elevations Credit Union, in a statement. “We hope these initiatives provide them with the resources and encouragement they need to continue making a positive impact.”

“Education is extremely important to Elevations, as the credit union was founded by CU Boulder faculty in 1952. To promote financial wellness, the credit union offers members free access to Zogo, which enables users to learn about dozens of financial topics while earning gift cards,” the CU added, noting there are over 500 Zogo users from Elevations.
