First Financial Names Josephine DeSucre as VP-Member Experience

FREEHOLD, N.J.–First Financial Federal Credit Union has named Josephine DeSucre as VP of member experience.

DeSucre brings 24 years of experience in the credit union and financial services industry, along with a strong background in operations, compliance, and member service.

Before joining First Financial, DeSucre served as chief operating officer at E&G Employees Federal Credit Union, where she oversaw branch operations, loan originations, collections, and the compliance program. Her extensive experience and operational expertise make her a valuable addition to the credit union’s leadership team.

In her new role with First Financial, DeSucre will lead key organizational processes across all areas of the credit union, and ensure high standards of service, operational efficiency, and a strong member experience.

“She will play a hands-on role in identifying and implementing improvements that support sales growth, enhance risk management, and drive profitability – while staying deeply connected to the needs of members and staff,” the credit union said.

“Being an empathetic person has always been important to me,” said DeSucre. “I make it a priority to put myself in others’ shoes and approach every interaction with compassion and respect, whether with members or colleagues. First Financial’s genuine commitment to people over profit sets us apart from other financial institutions. We focus on serving the best interests of our members.”

“We are very pleased to welcome Josephine DeSucre to First Financial as Vice President of member experience,” stated Issa Stephan, president and CEO. “We look forward to her leadership and contributions as the credit union continues its mission of supporting financial wellness for its members and the local Monmouth and Ocean County community.”
