SWEENY, Texas–A credit union employee was hit by debris after a shot was fired at the CU’s building.
According to police, they continue to look for a white Ford F-150 pickup truck that witnesses said was in the area during the incident.

The Brazoria County Sheriff’s Office told TheFacts.com that it received a call about 8 a.m. about a gunshot being fired at the Old Ocean Federal Credit Union in the 8200 block of FM 524 outside Sweeny, Texas.
When deputies arrived, they found damage to the credit union and an employee inside with injuries that did not appear to be life-threatening, the sheriff’s office told TheFacts.com.
The injuries were the result of flying debris and not of the employee being hit by gunfire, police said.
“We are pursuing this investigation and will not allow such dangerous conduct to go unanswered,” a spokesperson said.
