TYLER, Texas– Credit Union of Texas (CUTX) is celebrating the grand opening celebration of one of its newest branches serving the Lindale community, located at 8435 Military Drive, just south of Interstate 20 in Tyler, Texas.
The new location underscores CUTX’s commitment to the Lindale and greater East Texas community that now includes six branches serving the residents of Bonham, Gilmer, Kilgore, Lindale, Paris and Sulphur Springs, the credit union said.

The Lindale branch features the same full-service consumer and business banking experience available at all CUTX locations, including an interactive teller machine (ITM) serviced by live, virtual tellers, and public access to a no-fee automated teller machine (ATM). Todos Unidos, CUTX’s Spanish-language brand, is also available at the branch, with all the same great services and features as CUTX.
As part of the grand opening celebration, CUTX will host a donation drive in partnership with The Journey Center, a Lindale-based nonprofit that offers resources such as support groups, needs-based assistance, training, counseling, and community gatherings for local residents. The drive will collect canned goods and non-perishable items such as box noodles and peanut butter to help support the organization’s mission.
Additionally, as part of its partnership with the Lindale Independent School District (ISD), each month during the upcoming 2025-26 school year, CUTX will award a teacher at one of Lindale’s six school campuses with a $500 gift card through its Teacher of the Month program. The program, which first launched in Gilmer in 2023 and has grown to include Bonham, Chisum, Kilgore, Lindale, Sulphur Springs, Paris and Union Grove, allows students, parents, other teachers and community members to vote through a QR code posted outside the campuses of each district.
Furthermore, CUTX said it will donate proceeds from its food truck sales at CountryFest, the largest one-day event in downtown Lindale in October, to the Lindale ISD Education Foundation.
