O’FALLON, Mo. – West Community Credit Union is recognizing members and employees for the “overwhelming success” of its “CU Give: School Supply Collection Drive” held to benefit The Little Bit Foundation in St. Louis.
The drive aimed to support students and families across the region, especially those impacted by the recent tornado that disrupted many neighborhoods. The Little Bit Foundation currently partners with 54 school communities, serving more than 17,000 students throughout the St. Louis area. The credit union collected over 4,400 essential school supply items from a wish list, it said.
“Tremendous thank you to the employees of West Community Credit Union for organizing a school supply drive to empower The Little Bits Foundation’s mission to remove barriers for underserved students across our region,” stated Miranda Jones, president and CEO, The Little Bit Foundation. “Your time, energy, effort, and donations will directly provide students with the essentials and resources they need to thrive, and we are grateful for our continued
partnership with West Community Credit Union.”
“These supplies will help equip students with the tools they need to start the school year with confidence, dignity, and the opportunity to succeed, said Lori Hudson, community engagement manager at West Community Credit Union. “This donation drive is a meaningful part of our ongoing commitment to uplift and strengthen our community and we thank you for your support.
