ALPHARETTA, Ga.–The African American Credit Union Coalition (AACUC) annual meeting will kick off today here and run through Thursday.
The meeting will include a keynote address by Dr. DeRetta Rhodes, executive vice president and chief culture officer with the Atlanta Braves.
“Rhodes leads the charge on communications, community affairs, and people capital across the organization’s Major League operations and The Battery Atlanta,” AACUC said. “Her journey includes senior leadership roles at iconic institutions like Turner Broadcasting, First Data, the YMCA of Metro Atlanta, and more.”
The meeting also includes a full slate of breakout sessions, a Young Professionals Summit, social events, and more.
The Award Winners
During the meeting, the six winners of the 2025 Maurice R. Smith Leadership Awards will be presented on Wednesday.
The six award winners are:
