BOSTON–With nearly 300 professionals on hand representing 179 credit unions from 25 states, Alloya Corporate FCU has wrapped up its 11th annual Credit Union Leadership Symposium here.
“The tremendous amount of support we have received from our credit union attendees enables us to continue building on the event to make the Leadership Symposium improve every year,” Tim Bruculere, SVP-membership, said in a statement. “We are grateful to have such supportive members who take the time out of their schedules to join us for our annual event.”
According to Alloya, the 2025 Symposium equipped attendees to move into the future with confidence, “giving them the tools to lead, adapt, innovate and thrive in a quickly changing industry.”

The Presenters
Among the presenters:
• Best-selling author Nancy Giordano kicked off the event with a keynote on visionary leadership in today’s world
• Megan Freshour, incubation director at Filene Research Institute
• Cybersecurity expert Nick Espinosa
• Todd Cetnar, CEO of Cetnar Consulting Group
“In addition, nationally acclaimed economist Elliot Eisenberg shared his insights on navigating the current economic landscape, and Alloya’s own Tom Slefinger gave his signature economic update,” Alloya added. “Last but not least, Alloya was honored to host Mike Eruzione, captain of the 1980 Olympic gold medal-winning U.S. hockey team, who delivered a moving keynote on how to overcome obstacles by adopting the mentality of going for the gold.”
‘Groundbreaking Accomplishment’
During his annual report, Alloya CEO Todd Adams celebrated a groundbreaking accomplishment for the corporate and several of its partners in completing the credit union network’s first-ever multi-issuer prime auto loan asset-backed securitization (ABS).
“It was not easy to accomplish this historic milestone, but these credit unions worked well together and cleared several hurdles to create a path for other credit unions to follow,” Adams said. “Alloya’s mission is to support credit union success and simplify their back office lives – mission accomplished.”
Maintaining Tradition
Alloya added that in keeping with tradition, attendees had numerous opportunities to connect with peers, exchange ideas and build valuable relationships.
This year, attendees enjoyed a live baseball game between the Cleveland Guardians and the Boston Red Sox at Fenway Park, including a meet and greet opportunity with two-time MLB World Series Champion Roger Clemens, Alloya stated.
‘Back by Popular Demand’
The following evening saw a networking dinner at Del Frisco’s Double Eagle Steakhouse and The Capital Grille, and back by popular demand, Alloya’s Football Night at The Westin Copley Place.
The 2026 event is scheduled for Sept. 9-11 in Nashville. For info: www.alloyacorp.org/symposium2026.
