America’s Credit Unions Announces Dues Freeze for 2027

WASHINGTON–America’s Credit Unions said it will freeze its dues for 2027 and that its member credit unions will be invoiced at the same amount as assessed in 2026.

The trade group said the move underscores its “commitment to responsible stewardship, transparency, and member engagement as it evaluates the future of its membership investment model,” and that the decision reflects the board’s desire to take the “necessary time to develop a framework that serves credit unions of all sizes.”

‘Responsible Stewardship’

“Freezing dues for 2027 is about honoring our members’ investment, listening to their voice, and demonstrating our commitment to building a stronger future for all credit unions,” President and CEO Scott Simpson said in a statement. “Members should expect both responsible stewardship of their investment today and meaningful results that strengthen the credit union movement tomorrow. We are taking the time to get this right because our members deserve a membership dues model that is transparent, equitable, and built for the future. As we work alongside members to shape that future, our guiding principle remains simple: Your Investment. Your Voice. Our Commitment.”

America’s Credit Unions said the freeze will not slow down America’s Credit Unions’ efforts in advocacy, regulatory engagement, education, and support for credit unions.
