Ohio CU Hit
As the CU Daily recently reported, in Ohio, the Trumbull County (Ohio) Sheriff’s Office is investigating the theft of an ATM from 7 17 Credit Union.
According to the Sheriff’s Office, the ATM machine was stolen from the drive-through using a Bobcat skid steer. The Bobcat rammed the ATM in the drive-through lane, dislodging it from its foundation, and then lifted it into the bed of a 2003 light-colored Ford F350 pickup truck, possibly tan in color. The vehicle then fled the scene with the ATM machine, MahoningMatters.com reported.
