MADISON, Wis.–As a result of the ongoing recovery from a cybersecurity attack from which it is still working to recover, TruStage has announced a cancellation of its Discovery 2026 meeting.
The event, which was to held virtually, was scheduled for Aug. 24 from 10 a.m. to 4:45 p.m.
“This decision allows the organization to remain focused on recovery efforts and supporting customers, partners and employees during this time,” TruStage said in explaining the cancellation. “Although the event will not take place as planned, key Discovery insights and strategic content will be shared through a new thought leadership series in the coming months. Additional information will be provided as it becomes available.”

Update on Recovery
Meanwhile, an update on the status of the recovery from the cyberattack that is published on its website remains the same.
“The organization continues to restore systems following a recent cybersecurity attack,” the update states. “While significant progress has been made, some services remain unavailable as we work to restore operations safely and securely. Thank you for your patience.””
In TruStage’s most recent update on the attack, which occurred on or around July 11, President and CEO Terrance Williams said the company is making “steady advancements in restoring our technology environment and expanding operational capabilities, while also taking the opportunity to strengthen the technology foundation that will support members, customers, and credit union partners.”
TruStage has said it has a mid-August target for restoration of its systems.
Lawsuits & Member Feedback
The company is facing more than a dozen lawsuits, including from at least one credit union.
