Broncos’ QB Part of ‘Ent-erception’ Donation

Ent CU’s ‘Ent’erception Program Leads to Visit from Broncos’ QB Bo Nix as Part of Donation

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – The Denver Broncos’ stellar defensive efforts during the 2024 season combined with a unique campaign with Ent Credit Union to support the patients and families of Children’s Hospital Colorado. The program culminated with a special visit to Children’s Hospital Colorado, Colorado Springs by Broncos quarterback and Ent partner Bo Nix.
Nix joined members of the Broncos organization and Ent Credit Union team to visit with young patients and share words of encouragement, and present the funds raised through the “Ent”-erception program, a season-long initiative that turned critical defensive plays into meaningful impact off the field, the credit union said.

Ent pledged $1,000 for every interception by the Broncos’ defense this season and an additional $5,000 for each pick-six. Thanks to the team’s outstanding performance, the program raised an incredible $38,000 to help Children’s Colorado continue providing world-class care to children in need.

Really Paying Off
“I love that Ent Credit Union is connecting the success of our amazing defense to its efforts to support kids in Colorado,” said Nix in a statement. “Those ‘Ent’erceptions are paying off in a big way for a great cause and seeing it all come together like this has been an amazing experience. I’m grateful and excited to partner with Ent and to use our platform to do something bigger than football.”

“The fans have been hyped this year every time we get an Enterception. You can feel the environment in the stadium shift. It’s created some great conversations and buzz. Knowing what happens on the field is benefiting children off the field, is impactful,” Pat Surtain II, Broncos cornerback and NFL Defensive Player of the Year, said in a statement.
While in Colorado Springs, Nix made a special stop at an Ent Service Center on Interquest, where he met with credit union members and staff. He concluded the day with Ent’s leadership team, gaining insight into the Broncos Checking product and offering creative ideas for future opportunities, the credit union said.

‘Grateful’

“We are grateful to Bo, Pat and team for joining forces with us this season to amplify how we give back,” Annie Snead, executive director of Philanthropy and Community Relations, said in a statement. “This is a huge part of why we partner with the Broncos — to serve more Coloradans together.”

In its statement, the credit union said Nix’s visit and the success of the “Ent”-erceptions program exemplify the power of community partnerships and the impact they can have on the lives of children and families. Through their combined efforts, Nix and Ent Credit Union continue to champion the importance of giving back and making a difference where it matters most.
