EUREKA, Calif.–Coast Central Credit Union has approved a total of $150,000 in grants to 21 local organizations throughout Humboldt, Del Norte and Trinity counties for the spring 2025 round of its Community Investment Program.

Coast Central said it also supports its communities through sponsorships and college scholarships for a total of $650,000 annually, and this year, CCCU employees will contribute over 7,500 hours in volunteerism.

“Our motto, people helping people, is powerfully reflected in the 21 inspiring nonprofits awarded in our spring grant round,” said President and CEO Fred Moore in a statement.  “Chosen from 100 applicants, these organizations are changing lives—supporting youth, families, seniors, veterans, and first responders. We’re deeply grateful to our volunteer Board of Directors whose support and guidance make this impact possible.”
