First Edition of Credit Union Board Brief Hits Directors’ Inboxes

WESTLAND, Mich.–The first edition of the Credit Union Board Brief has now been sent to everyone who signed up for it.

The CU Board Brief is an e-newsletter that includes trends, reporting and other insights that provide a top-level view for board members of what is taking place in credit unions. It has been specifically designed to help credit union volunteers remain informed but not overwhelmed and to review broader issues, not get down into matters better dealt with by management.

“The CU Board Brief is based on specific feedback and meetings with attendees at Rochdale’s Volunteer Leadership Institute,” said CU Daily Cooperator in Chief Frank J. Diekmann. “The volunteers were straightforward in what they were eager to know more about and were eager to hear of what was taking place in the broader credit union community so they could make more informed decisions.”

The Credit Union Board Brief is being published in collaboration with Rochdale, which has provided a column offering insights to boards when it comes to artificial intelligence.

About the Board Brief

The Credit Union Board Brief is $799 annually—that is for the entire board and supervisory committee, not per board member.

Those interested in receiving a copy of the first edition of the Credit Union Board Brief at no charge should contact Frank J. Diekmann at [email protected]
