POCATELLO, Idaho–The clubhouse at the Riverside Golf Course here is being renamed for a credit union. Following a 20-year agreement, the facility is now called the Connections Credit Union Clubhouse.
“This new space is designed to bring the community together and encourage healthy, active lifestyles,” the Idaho State Journal reported. “… Connections Credit Union is helping make the new clubhouse possible, underscoring its commitment to investing in spaces where neighbors connect, families gather, and residents can enjoy the benefits of outdoor recreation.”

According to the report, the existing clubhouse, originally built as a barn nearly 80 years ago, has served the community well but has far exceeded its intended lifespan as a commercial building.
Future Plans
Plans call for the new clubhouse to be completed before the current building is taken down, with demolition expected after the new structure opens in 2026.
The new clubhouse is anticipated to feature approximately 3,300 square feet on the main floor, with a full basement for storing golf carts. Amenities will include patio seating, a golf simulator, and other modern features to enhance the golfer experience, the State Journal reported.
‘Proud to Partner’
“We’re proud to partner with the City on a project that will enhance Riverside Golf Course and benefit the community for years to come,” CCU CEO Jamie Simmons said in a statement. “Riverside Golf Course is an important part of Pocatello’s recreational offerings, and this new clubhouse will create an even better experience for golfers and visitors alike.”
