In Its Quest to Expand, One CU Adds Five Ohio Counties

KENTON, Ohio–Quest Federal Credit Union has added five Ohio counties to its field of membership, which now includes Crawford, Hancock, Hardin, Logan, Putnam, Seneca, Union and Wyandot counties.

“Community chartered federal credit unions are required to charter and serve specific, well defined communities and in our case that is typically a county,” CEO Matt Jennings said in a statement. “We have grown and continue to grow in areas where it would be a benefit to these surrounding counties to have access to Quest and the many products, services and solutions that we offer to consumers and small businesses”

Originally Chartered in 1969

Quest Federal Credit Union began as the Kenton Rockwell Standard Federal Credit Union in 1969 and in 2000 converted to a community charter serving all of those who live, work, worship or attend school in Hardin County.  In 2008, Logan county was added to the field of membership and shortly thereafter, Wyandot county became a service area.  Since that time Quest has added three new branches with the most recent addition being an office located in Carey, Ohio that is scheduled to open in early 2026, according to the credit union.

The $225-million credit union has approximately 17,000 members.
