Member XP Names 13 Winners of Its Best of the Best Awards

MARSHALL, Mich.–MemberXP, the customer/member experience program offered through Credit Union Service Group (CUSG), has named 13 winners in its Best of the Best Awards. 

Pennsylvania-based Service First FCU was the winner in five categories. 

MemberXP said its Best of the Best’ Awards, now in their ninth year, celebrate credit unions that consistently provide exceptional member experiences and demonstrate outstanding member-centric leadership within the financial services industry.

Millions of Data Points

According to the company,  2025 MemberXP Best of the Best Awards are based on insights from more than 2.6 million data points, reflecting the experiences of around 8.6 million credit union members. 

Recognition is given to the top 25% of performers across various experiential categories, the company said.

“This comprehensive evaluation process uses two key performance metrics—Net Promoter Score (NPS) and Member Effort Score (MES)—to recognize the top 25% of performers in each experiential category, with the highest-ranking credit union in each category earning top honors,” the company said.

‘Dedicated Efforts’

Added CUSG President and CEO Patty Corkery in a statement, “The MemberXP Best of the Best Awards highlight the dedicated efforts of credit unions to enhance member experiences continually. Each winner exemplifies a commitment to excellence and a member-first approach, proving that member advocacy leads to lasting loyalty and growth.”

In addition to the main awards, MemberXP said it also presented the Best Overall Member Experience award, which combines the core credit union experiences of Consumer Loan, New Member, and Transaction. 

“Winning these prestigious awards reflects the heart of our culture—putting members first and striving for excellence in every interaction,” Service 1st Chief Experience Officer Karen Wood said in a statement. “It’s a testament to our dedication to creating a service environment where trust, care, and innovation thrive.”

New for 2025

New for 2025, MemberXP said it introduced an award recognizing outstanding performance in mystery shopping. 

“The mystery shopping program assists credit unions in maintaining a consistent brand voice across their footprint while providing in-depth insights for coaching and improvement,” the company said.

Two-Time Winner

Marshalll Community Credit Union won in two categories: Best Consumer Loan Experience and Best Mortgage Loan Experience.
“Consumer and mortgage loans can be a very personal journey, and we are committed to providing member-focused solutions combined with personalized service and the resources to help individuals and families achieve their financial goals,” MCCU COO Misty Seavolt said in a statement. “The Best of the Best award highlights our dedication to prioritizing our members needs to create meaningful experiences for those we serve.”
