WICHITA, Kan.–Kent R. Gleason, president and CEO of Millennium Corporate Credit Union, has passed away.
Gleason, 60, spent 34 years in credit unions, beginning in 1990 as a league consultant with the Kansas Credit Union Association before joining Kansas Corporate Credit Union in 1992 as an asset/liability analyst. Kansas Corporate eventually changed its name to Millenium Corporate.

“His expertise and leadership quickly became evident, leading to his promotion to executive vice president in 1997, the corporate said.
In 2016, he was appointed chief operations officer, where he “continued to drive strategic initiatives that strengthened Millennium Corporate.”
Gleason was named president and CEO in June of 2024.
“Alongside Kent’s many accomplishments at Millennium Corporate, Kent positively impacted the lives of those he worked with,” the corporate said. “He was not only a co-worker, but a friend and a shoulder to lean on. Long before he became president, Kent showed how he cared and provided for those around him, his co-workers and members, too.
‘Passion for Credit Union Movement’
“Kent’s passion for the credit union movement was matched only by his dedication to his family and community,” the statement continued. “He was a devoted husband to his wife and father to his two children.
“Kent’s leadership, integrity, and genuine kindness left an indelible mark on Millennium Corporate and the credit union community. His legacy of service and dedication will continue to inspire those who had the privilege of working alongside him. He will be deeply missed, but never forgotten.”
