RALEIGH, N.C.–A new online directory has been published that seeks to match consumers to the credit unions for which they are eligible.
The Credit Union Directory has been published by Warrant an AI-powered marketing compliance and approval workflow platform the company said was built for credit unions and financial services.
For credit unions, the directory uses an “AI matching engine” to connect the CU with consumers that meet its specific field of membership requirements.
Credit unions can also actively update their own information the company said. “Take control of your directory listing. Keep your APY and loan rates current to stay competitive,” Warrant said. “The website can match prospective members with CUs that fit their eligibility, goals, and location. This is a new inbound channel at no cost for CU marketing teams as they can fill out a quick form to customize their profile on the website.”

The Problem
According to Warrant, the “problem” for credit unions is that 30% of Gen Z consumers don’t know they can join a credit union.
“That single number tells the whole story,” Warrant said. “The biggest barrier to next-gen membership growth isn’t rates, fees, or mobile app quality. It’s visibility. People can’t choose what they don’t know exists.”
The company further stated credit unions were built on geographic community — the employer, the neighborhood, the town, but “community doesn’t mean the same thing to a 24-year-old who banks on their phone and has never set foot in a branch. And credit unions can’t outspend Chase on Google Ads. Every dollar they do spend has to clear compliance review first, which slows campaigns and limits the kind of experimentation that drives digital growth. Marketing execution cannot be the only way to solve the issue of credit union visibility.”
The Solution
The solution, Warrant said, is that rather than “pushing harder,” credit unions should “pull” by letting potential members find them at the “moment of intent — when they’re already searching for a better financial fit — and make it effortless to discover which credit union matches their needs.”
Warrant said that’s what the Credit Union Directory does, and at no cost to credit unions.
