BOISE, Idaho–The Student Union Building (SUB at Boise State University is being renamed following a sponsorship deal with Westmark Credit Union.
The 10-year deal with the $1.62-billion credit union is for $8.5-million in total and result in the building be renamed the Boise State University Westmark Student Union Building.
The sponsorship also makes Westmark the official credit union sponsor of the university and will include the installation of a microbranch in the building, according to the organizations.
Over 10 years, Idaho Falls-based Westmark Credit Union will pay the university approximately $8.5 million for the naming rights. BSU’s Office of Communications and Marketing said in a statement the funds will be used to improve the Student Union Building, enrich the student experience and support student-serving programs and initiatives.
