PORTLAND, Ore. — OnPoint Community Credit Union has awarded more than $500,000 in grants to 59 nonprofit organizations across Oregon and southwest Washington through its biannual Community Grants & Giving program, supporting initiatives focused on education, food security, housing stability, workforce development, foster youth and summer camp access, according to the credit union.
The $9.6-billion credit union said the grants are intended to strengthen local communities by providing both programmatic and general operating support to organizations whose missions align with OnPoint’s community impact priorities, including education, financial wellness, housing stability, food security and youth development.

“Investing in the well-being of our communities is central to who we are,” Rob Stuart, president and CEO of OnPoint Community Credit Union, said in a statement. “These organizations are doing critical work to create opportunity, stability and connection for people across our region and we’re proud to help support their missions.”
