Raise a Toast: Origence Wins Stevie Award for Success of Wine Auction

IRVINE, Calif. — Origence has received a Gold Stevie Award in the Cause Event category during the 24th Annual American Business Awards, which are presented by the Stevie Awards and which recognized the company’s role in “organizing and executing the credit union industry’s flagship philanthropic event since 2006.”

As the CU Daily reported, nearly 600 credit union executives and industry leaders attended the 2026 Credit Unions for Kids Wine Auction in Dana Point, Calif., where participants raised $2.4 million for 11 Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals facilities across California and Nevada.

The annual event featured dining, entertainment, live and silent auctions, and the sharing of a patient story highlighting the impact of donations on children and families receiving care through Children’s Miracle Network hospitals.

‘A Shared Purpose’

“The Wine Auction reflects what can happen when credit unions and industry partners come together around a shared purpose, and this recognition is a testament to that collective impact,” Tony Boutelle, president and CEO of Origence, said in a statement released through the Stevie Awards. “We are grateful to the community that has supported this event over the years and helped create a meaningful and lasting difference for children and families.”

The Credit Unions for Kids Wine Auction, founded in 2006, has raised more than $20 million since its inception for children’s hospitals affiliated with Children’s Miracle Network.

The organization also said more than 250 professionals worldwide participated in the judging process for this year’s Stevie Award winners.
