IRWINDALE, Calif.–Rize Credit Union said it is offering additional support for Los Angeles wildfire recovery and rebuilding, including limited-edition LA Strong apparel, direct donations and a dedicated impact certificate. The $1.2-billion Rize said the LA Strong apparel includes pullover and zip-up hoodies and trucker hats for those looking to wear their support, with 100% of the proceeds going to local recovery efforts. 100% Tax Deductib;e
In addition, Rize said members and the community who want to make an immediate impact toward wildfire recovery can now give direct donations through the credit union’s website, with every dollar donated going directly to rebuilding and recovery efforts and being 100% tax-deductible.
“For an easy way to support the community without out-of-pocket donations, Rize has expanded their 24-month Impact Certificate to now include CA Wildfire Relief as a beneficiary,” the credit union said.
Anyone who opens an Impact Certificate earns a 3% APY, with Rize donating an additional 2% to a choice of causes.

Directed Contributions
“With this update, depositors can now direct their contributions toward wildfire relief efforts, providing critical support to affected communities, the 72,500-member Rize said.

The credit union said assistance and support announced previously for those affected by the wildfire is still ongoing and includes essential item donation drives, opening branch locations for temporary community workspaces and a dedicated hotline for impacted members to access emergency financial relief.
