HAUPPAUGE, N.Y. — Teachers Federal Credit Union is reporting it raised a record-breaking $1.1 million for Children’s Miracle Network, bringing its total contributions to the children’s charity to more than $3 million since 2023.
The fundraising milestone was driven by Teachers Federal Credit Union’s fourth annual golf tournament, which the organization said is the largest golf fundraiser benefiting Children’s Miracle Network in the Northeast. The event was held at Westhampton Country Club in Westhampton Beach, N.Y., and drew nearly 200 attendees from across the country.
“We are honored to continue supporting Children’s Miracle Network and the extraordinary work they do for children and families,” Teachers Federal Credit Union President and CEO Brad Calhoun said in a statement. “Surpassing $1.1 million in fundraising is a remarkable milestone and reflects the generosity and commitment of our employees, members and business partners.”

Where Funds Go
Calhoun said the funds will help support critical care, life-saving treatments, specialized medical equipment and other services for children and families receiving care at children’s hospitals.
Children’s Miracle Network President and CEO Aimee Daily said the partnership reflects the credit union industry’s “people helping people” philosophy and helps support local children’s hospitals nationwide.
“The dedication and generosity demonstrated through this annual tournament reflect the ‘people helping people’ philosophy that defines credit unions,” Daily said in a statement. “By uniting to raise funds for local children’s hospitals, we help elevate possibilities and ensure kids have every chance to grow up strong.”
Employees in Volunteer Projects
In addition to fundraising efforts, Teachers employees participate in volunteer projects supporting children receiving care, including assembling no-sew blankets, preparing craft kits and organizing donation drives.
The support for Children’s Miracle Network is part of a broader community giving strategy at Teachers Federal Credit Union. According to the credit union, it contributed more than $1.6 million to 120 nonprofit organizations in 2025, logged more than 3,500 volunteer hours and supported organizations focused on education, health and human services, economic development and research.
Teachers Federal Credit Union, founded in 1952, has more than $10 billion in assets and serves more than 474,000 members across all 50 states, according to the organization.
