TALLAHASSEE, Fla.– The League of Credit Unions has named Tobi Weingart as senior VP-member and industry engagement.

“I’m thrilled to step into this role and continue supporting credit unions in creating meaningful impact for their members and communities. This movement thrives on collaboration, innovation, and a shared commitment to members, and I look forward to contributing to its growth in a new capacity,” Weingart said in a statement. “As someone born and raised in Southwest Georgia and a proud University of Georgia graduate, I deeply understand the importance of financial empowerment at the community level. I’m excited to bring my passion and experience to this work in a way that drives real impact.”
Weingart previously served as chief program officer at the National Credit Union Foundation, where she led key initiatives such as Credit Union Development Education (CUDE) and Exploring Why Workshops. Before that, Weingart was a senior product manager at Credit Union National Association (CUNA), now America’s Credit Unions, overseeing the Creating Member Loyalty solution and designing national training programs, including Experience Learning Live, Coaching Leadership School, and Certified Credit Union Facilitator School.
Weingart began her career on the teller line at Educators Credit Union in Wisconsin, gaining hands-on experience in member service and human resources before transitioning to national-level impact roles.
“Tobi’s deep-rooted passion for credit unions, combined with her leadership in credit union development and innovation, makes her an invaluable addition to our team,” The League President Samantha A.M. Beeler said in a statement. “Her experience, from hands-on member service to shaping national conversations on the credit union difference, will help drive meaningful engagement and continued growth for our credit unions. We are excited for the impact she will bring to the organization as we work together to advance our movement.”
