It said the interactive session aims to provide a supportive environment for attendees to learn, share, and grow.
‘Not Only Impactful, Necessary’
“Now more than ever, creating space for community and having conversations around these topics is not only impactful, but necessary,” Glover said in a statement. “This event is something we have been planning for a while, and WPCU is excited to invite the community to join us for conversations about topics that are often on our minds, but that can sometimes be challenging to navigate. We are hopeful that this event will ‘set the table,’ so to speak, for attendees to ask questions, voice concerns, and share knowledge in a supportive and collaborative way.”
The Topics
Among the topics to be discussed: Balance in life, building support, bridging the gap of financial independence, and being an advocate.
The credit union added that registered attendees will receive a gift bag with items from women-owned businesses and be entered in a raffle to win prizes, including a spa day and a headshot photo session.
