ROME, N.Y.– RT Federal Credit Union said it has awarded more than $13,500 in classroom grants to support teachers in local school districts. 

The grants, which provide up to $500 per recipient, help fund innovative projects, essential classroom materials, and educational opportunities that directly benefit students, the CU said.

“At RTFCU, we believe in the power of education and the incredible impact that teachers have on their students,” CEO Tracy Worden said in a statement. “We are thrilled to help and support their efforts in making a difference in the classroom.”
