DUNEDIN, Fla. – Achieva Credit Union has promoted Jason Hatcher to Assistant Vice President of Commercial Lending, where he will oversee the credit union’s commercial relationship manager, portfolio management, credit administration, and commercial loan operations teams.

Hatcher brings more than two decades of banking and lending experience to the role, with expertise spanning commercial lending, credit administration, underwriting, portfolio management, residential lending, and banking operations. Prior to joining Achieva in September 2025 as Commercial Credit & Administration Manager, Hatcher spent nearly 10 years in senior leadership within the community and de novo banking space, including serving as Chief Credit Officer.

“Jason has already made a tremendous impact on our commercial lending operations in a very short amount of time,” said David Germann, Chief Lending Officer at Achieva Credit Union. “He brings strong leadership, deep credit expertise, and a thoughtful approach to growth that aligns perfectly with our commitment to serving members and supporting businesses throughout our communities.”

A longtime Achieva member for nearly 20 years, Hatcher said the opportunity to help expand the credit union’s commercial lending presence made the move especially meaningful.

“I’ve spent my career helping individuals and businesses navigate important financial decisions, and what stood out to me about Achieva was the genuine commitment to people behind everything the organization does,” said Jason Hatcher, Assistant Vice President of Commercial Lending at Achieva Credit Union. “There’s a strong foundation here already, and I was excited by the opportunity to help continue growing the commercial lending side in a way that truly supports our members, local businesses, and community.”

Since joining Achieva, Hatcher has played a key role in strengthening the lending and credit administration function by implementing underwriting controls, improving consistency across processes, and developing portfolio management strategies designed to support long-term growth and strong asset quality. In his expanded role, he will oversee the entire commercial lending function as Achieva continues to focus on commercial growth throughout 2026.
