HOLLYWOOD, Calif. — First Entertainment Credit Union will serve as an official sponsor of the 2026 City of Angels Film Festival, which will run Oct. 22-26 in Hollywood.
First Entertainment specializes in serving people working in the entertainment industry and other creative fields.

“We’re proud to support festivals like City of Angels that share our mission of supporting filmmakers and creative communities and highlighting stories that matter,” Meyoung Spektor, First Entertainment’s senior director for growth and partnerships, said in a statement.
The City of Angels Film Festival brings together filmmakers and writers from around the world for film screenings, filmmaker question-and-answer sessions, networking events and industry panels. Festival events will be held at the Eastwood Performing Arts Center in Hollywood.
A ‘Natural Partner’
Festival founder and director Lisa K. Crosato said First Entertainment’s connection to the entertainment industry made the credit union a natural partner for the event.
“We are delighted to have such a dynamic and understanding financial player and member of the Hollywood community who understands filmmakers and writers join our family of Official Sponsors,” Crosato said in a statement.
Film Finance Panel Planned
As part of the partnership, First Entertainment and the festival will host a film finance panel and luncheon during the week before the festival begins.
The event will be held in the community room at First Entertainment’s Burbank location. A date has not yet been announced.
The panel and luncheon will be free and open to the public, according to First Entertainment and festival organizers.
The City of Angels Film Festival is an IMDb-qualifying festival and describes itself as being among the top 1% of best-reviewed festivals worldwide.
Organizers are accepting submissions through Sept. 20 for:
- Films of all lengths and genres.
- Scripts of all lengths and genres.
The festival will conclude with a red-carpet awards gala Monday, Oct. 26, at the Harmony Gold Theater on Sunset Boulevard. Tickets are currently on sale through the festival’s website.
