‘#BrightFutures4Kids’ Fundraiser for CMN Intro’d by Acumen With Pledge of Up to $10K

LA JOLLA, Calif.–“#BrightFutures4Kids,” a new national initiative benefitting Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals, has been launched by Acumen Financial Advantage and Credit Unions for Kids (CU4Kids).
The initiative invites credit union professionals and supporters nationwide to post a selfie on LinkedIn using the hashtag #BrightFutures4Kids. For each post, Acumen will donate $10 to CMN Hospitals through CU4Kids—up to a total of $10,000.
“This initiative shows how small actions can lead to a big impact,” Samantha Paxson, chief growth officer at Acumen Financial Advantage, said in a statement. “We’re proud to partner with CU4Kids to help raise visibility, drive donations, and make a real difference for the children and families served by CMN Hospitals.”

Beyond Social Media
The company noted the partnership goes far beyond just social media. From October 2025 through December 2026, Acumen will donate 5% of its revenue from every newly funded Charitable Donation Account (CDA) or Charitable Endowment Plan (CEP) to CMN Hospitals.
“Credit unions are encouraged to match Acumen’s contribution or make a gift of their own, creating a ripple effect of support that can turn strategic investments into life-changing impact for families across the country,” the company said.

How It Works
According to Acumen, the initiative works this way:
• Post for a Purpose Today. Snap a selfie in front of a window on a plane, in a car, or anywhere the light shines and tag #BrightFutures4Kids on LinkedIn to unlock a $10 donation.
• Build Tomorrow. Explore the power of CDAs and CEPs by visiting www.acumenfa.com/bf4k.
• Brighten the Future. “Sustain your giving impact year-round, turning financial strategy into a charitable force.”

The company said the initiative will officially launch on Oct. 15, 2025, and will remain active through the end of 2026, with concentrated promotion periods tied to major industry events.

In addition, credit unions inquiring about CDAs or CEPs will also receive a free, customized Impact Report from Acumen Financial Advantage.
