LAKE MARY, Fla.–Addition Financial Credit Union has announced two promotions and additions to its senior management team. Named to new roles within the Addition Financial senior management team were: Joe MacLaren, general counsel, and Matt Walsh, SVP-information technology

Their leadership will be essential as we deliver exceptional member service and further our mission within more communities than ever before.”

Joe MacLaren joined Addition Financial in 2018 as assistant general counsel, bringing extensive experience navigating financial, legal, and regulatory environments. As general counsel, MacLaren will serve as the organization’s chief legal officer, providing strategic legal guidance to leadership while ensuring strong governance, risk management, and compliance practices that support the credit union’s mission and growth.
Matt Walsh joined the credit union 8 years ago as vice president of information technology. With his promotion to senior vice president of IT, Walsh will oversee all aspects of information technology, including governance, information security, infrastructure, support services, software development, and core banking systems. He will play a critical role in ensuring Addition Financial’s technology platforms are secure, scalable, and aligned with the organization’s strategic goals.

Addition Financial also promoted Jennifer Fowler to serve as chief of staff, in a support role to the executive team. Fowler brings more than 20 years of experience in the banking and credit union industry, including 12 years with Addition Financial. In her role as chief of staff, she serves as a trusted advisor and strategic partner to the CEO, helping translate vision into action, align cross-functional teams, and drive initiatives that advance the organization’s mission.
