RYE, N.Y.–Against odds estimated at more than one in 150 million, a member of USALLIANCE Financial Credit Union was selected as a first-prize winner in the Visa FIFA World Cup 2026 Sweepstakes.
The national promotion ran from Feb. 1 to March 31, 2026, giving eligible Visa cardholders an automatic entry for every eligible purchase for a chance to win a once-in-a-lifetime FIFA World Cup™ experience.
Monique K. of Malden, Mass., a USALLIANCE member since 2014, was officially named the first‑prize winner. The credit union said the odds of her winning were estimated at one in 150,097,302, to be exact.
As part of the prize package, Monique will attend a highly anticipated semi‑final match at Atlanta Stadium in Atlanta, with travel and hotel accommodations included.
‘I Didn’t Believe It’
“At first, I didn’t believe it. A lot of people get scammed, so I was skeptical. When I realized it was legit, it was such a pleasant surprise,” Monique said in a statement. “I’m over the moon. I never expected to win something like this, and it’s still sinking in. I’m looking forward to the whole experience, having a day off to enjoy myself, and just taking it all in.”
