Alloya Corporate Set to Return to Nashville for Leadership Symposium

NASHVILLE, Tenn.–Alloya Corporate Federal Credit Union said it will return to Nashville, Tennessee, for its 12th annual Credit Union Leadership Symposium, scheduled for Sept. 9-11 at the Omni Nashville Hotel.

According to Alloya Corporate FCU, the event will bring together credit union leaders from across the country for discussions focused on the future of the credit union movement, while also marking Alloya’s 15th anniversary.

“Alloya’s annual Symposium is a time to prepare for the future and reflect on the Power of Cooperation with our member credit unions, whose collaboration, commitment to their communities and innovative spirit are at the heart of the credit union movement,” Tim Bruculere, Alloya’s senior vice president of membership, said in a statement.

‘Stronger Together’

“We are stronger together, and we look forward to celebrating our accomplishments over the last 15 years and learning from the best in the industry in Music City this September,” Bruculere added. “We’re also excited to share a sneak peek at what’s coming for Alloya members during the annual update and showcase how we continue to be the best partner for credit unions of all sizes.”

According to Alloya, this year’s symposium speaker lineup will include:

  • Josh Linkner, who will deliver a keynote focused on de-risking the creative process, unlocking transformational ideas and building confidence around responsible risk-taking.
  • Connie Podesta, who will discuss leadership and human behavior and offer strategies designed to help credit union leaders elevate organizational performance.
  • Elliott Eisenberg, who will provide an economic outlook and insights into navigating current market conditions.
  • Mike Abrashoff, who will share lessons from transforming one of the Navy’s lowest-ranked ships into the top-performing ship in the Pacific Fleet.
  • Phil Gwoke, who will present strategies for leading and engaging multigenerational workforces.
  • Janine Stange, also known as the “National Anthem Girl,” who will lead a breakout session focused on empowering attendees to make decisions that create momentum.
  • Byron Reese, who will discuss artificial intelligence and its implications for the future of credit unions.

Networking Opportunities

Alloya said attendees also will have opportunities to network and exchange ideas with peers from across the country. Planned events include a dinner and networking event at Foundry Fieldhouse, followed by a live performance at the Grand Ole Opry.

The organization also said its annual “Football Night” event, described as a longstanding symposium tradition, will take place on Nashville’s Skydeck on Broadway and will focus on networking and camaraderie among attendees.

The Alloya Board of Directors Annual Meeting will be held Sept. 10 at 11 a.m. Central time in conjunction with the symposium, according to the organization. Credit union professionals may attend without any additional registration beyond symposium registration.
