AmFirst CU Names Jennifer McNeil as VP-HR

BIRMINGHAM, Ala. — AmFirst Credit Union has promoted Jennifer McNeil to vice president-human resources. 

McNeil has served the AmFirst community for 17 years, beginning her career as a float teller in the downtown Birmingham location before joining the Human Resources team in 2011. Throughout her tenure, McNeil has demonstrated an unwavering commitment to both team members and members alike, building a reputation for service, integrity, and leadership at every step, the credit union said. 

“I am honored by the opportunity to serve as vice president of human resources,” said McNeil. “Stepping into this role, I’m dedicated to championing a culture where talent is nurtured, innovation is encouraged, and every team member feels connected to our shared mission. As a key human resources leader, the credit union said McNeil has been instrumental in developing and enhancing AmFirst’s total benefits package, positioning it as one of the most competitive and comprehensive in the industry. In her new role, McNeil will oversee all human resources functions, including training and development, emphasizing AmFirst’s ongoing commitment to professional growth and the employee pledge.
