Ashland Community FCU Marking 75th Birthday With Year-Long Series of Events

ASHLAND, Ohio — Ashland Community Federal Credit Union said it is celebrating its 75th anniversary in 2026 with a year-long series of events and community initiatives recognizing its history and ongoing commitment to Ashland County.

According to the $23.1-million credit union, the member-owned cooperative, founded in 1951, will mark three-quarters of a century of serving members while highlighting its continued focus on community involvement and financial well-being.

The anniversary celebration will recognize the members, employees and community partners who have contributed to the credit union’s growth over the past 75 years while also emphasizing its future direction, Ashland Community FCU said.

Member & Guest Appreciation Events

Planned activities throughout 2026 include member and guest appreciation events at the credit union’s lobby, monthly social media spotlights featuring members and employees, financial literacy programs for adults and youth, and a “history in the making” timeline showcasing key milestones since the credit union’s founding in 1951.

The celebration will culminate with a 75th anniversary community appreciation event scheduled for September.

“For 75 years, our mission has remained the same: people helping people,” CEO Christian Dabney said in a statement. “This anniversary is about honoring the relationships that built this credit union and celebrating the community we are proud to serve.”

Ashland Community FCU said it will provide updates on anniversary events and activities throughout the year on its website.
