Bay Area Habitat Gets $25K Donation From AMOCO FCU

AMOCO Federal Credit Union donated $25,000 to Bay Area Habitat for Humanity, saying the contribution reflects the shared commitment of both organizations to building stronger, more resilient communities.

“AMOCO has a proud history of supporting local non-profits and community initiatives. Our partnership with Bay Area Habitat for Humanity perfectly aligns with our commitment to help our members, and the community to achieve personal success and financial stability through homeownership,”  Ashley Carner, president & COO of AMOCO FCU, said in a statement.

Earlier this year, AMOCO celebrated a remarkable milestone, financing over 2,800 real estate loans totaling nearly $500 million. This achievement highlights the credit union’s mission – to serve the financial needs of its members.

“We are incredibly proud to support Bay Area Habitat for Humanity,” Carner stated. “To commemorate our accomplishments in real estate lending, we have chosen to co-sponsor the Texas City build alongside two local leaders, Marathon Petroleum and the Moody Foundation.”

The home will be built with the collaborative effort of volunteers from AMOCO, the Moody Foundation, Marathon Petroleum, and the future homeowner, all united to create a significant and lasting impact in the community.
