BECU Cuts Ribbon on New Financial Center

TACOMA, Wash.–BECU celebrated the grand opening of its new Pierce County Financial Center with a ribbon cutting.

BECU CEO Beverly Anderson was joined by Chief Member and Digital Experiences Officer Jason Rudman, Branch Manager BJ Hunsicker, and Tacoma Mayor Victoria Woodards. BECU employees, members and community partners were also in attendance.

The new, 7,500-square-foot branch is among the largest locations in BECU’s network. With more than 186,000 members in the area, the Pierce County Financial Center offers expanded services like teller services and check cashing, drive-up ATM services, and more. 

BECU said it has been part of the Pierce County community for more than 15 years, first opening its University Place location in 2009. With this new location, the credit union will expand financial services for its more than 186,000 members in the area, while growing its local impact.
