BenefisCU Sponsoring 2 Scholarships to CUES CEO Institute 1: Here’s How to Apply

MADISON, Wis.—BenefisCU, a CUSO specializing in executive benefits, has announced it will sponsor two scholarships for CUES’ CEO Institute I: Strategic Planning program, with applications being accepted through Dec. 18.

The program is held at the Wharton School.

According to BenefisCU, which is powered by TriscendNP, the scholarships will be funded through its Industry Advancement Fund and will cover program registration fees for two current or aspiring credit union CEOs seeking to strengthen their strategic planning and leadership skills.

“The future of the credit union movement will be shaped by the leaders we develop today,” said BenefisCU CEO Alexandria Staron. “We want to invest in people who are curious, forward-thinking, and committed to something bigger than their own organization.”

Staron said the goal is to provide two credit union leaders with opportunities to develop skills they can use to benefit both their institutions and the broader industry.

Participants who complete the full program earn the Certified Chief Executive (CCE) designation, which recognizes executive-level expertise and leadership development.

“The CEO Institutes have formed credit union leaders for more than three decades,” said CUES CEO Heather McKissick. “We’re grateful to BenefisCU for expanding access to this transformational leadership experience and investing in the future of credit unions.”
