BMI FCU Golf Tourney Raises s$41K for Folds of Honor

COLUMBUS, Ohio–BMI Federal Credit Union hosted its annual Scholarship Golf Open benefitting the Central Ohio Chapter of Folds of Honor at The Lakes Golf and Country Club and raised more than $41,000 to go toward Folds of Honor’s mission to provide educational funds to the spouses and children of America’s fallen and disabled service members and first responders.

This event gave golfers the opportunity to help raise funds for Folds of Honor while playing a round on The Lake’s prestigious course. Their round was followed by a dinner that featured a current scholarship recipient as the guest speaker. During the dinner, golfers also participated in a raffle for the chance to win awesome prizes, the credit union said.

Every dollar contributed to the event including raffle ticket sales, sponsorships, and registration fees went towards supporting the Folds of Honor mission in areas that BMI FCU serves.

In total, the BMI Federal Credit Union Scholarship Golf Open has raised $403,451 in scholarship funds since its inception in 2015.
