Brant Spangler Named SVP-Consumer Lending by Peak CU

OLYMPIA, Wash.–Peak Credit Union has selected Brant Spangler to serve as SVP- consumer lending. He was placed by DDJ Myers, the well-known executive search and leadership development firm, and officially joins the credit union today.

“We’re thrilled to have Brant on board and look forward to the leadership and innovation he will bring to our lending organization,” says Michelle Anderson, Chief Growth Officer. “In this role, Brant will provide strategic leadership across our Mortgage, Consumer Lending (Direct and Indirect), and Home Equity teams.”

Spangler brings nearly 20 years of credit union lending leadership expertise, with a proven track record of advancing loan origination systems, driving automation, and implementing member-first lending strategies. Most recently, he served as Director of Loan Origination Strategy at BECU and previously held senior leadership roles at GESA Credit Union and Inspirus Credit Union.

“I’m excited for this opportunity to put my skills and knowledge to work as part of the Peak Credit Union team,” says Spangler. “Together, I’m confident we will continue helping members access credit responsibly and efficiently while making a positive impact on the communities we serve.”

Originally from Montana, Spangler earned his Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Washington State University and his Bachelor of Science degree from Montana State University. He is married and the proud father of two college-aged children.

Outside of work, Spangler enjoys camping, overlanding, and cheering on WSU soccer. He is also actively involved in his community, volunteering in youth sports and with his local church.
