“We are excited to have Nick join our executive team,” said Ray Lindley, President & CEO for CapEd Credit Union. “Nick brings great experience with a deep knowledge of financial services to help us in our mission of service, financial empowerment and education.”

Most recently, Sanzana served as SVP of Finance at Sunwest Bank, where he led financial operations, budgeting, stress testing, and incentive compensation initiatives. He also oversaw the Asset Liability Committee and the institution’s annual planning process. During his tenure, bank assets quadrupled while his deep expertise in liquidity and interest rate risk strengthened regulatory compliance and provided executive leadership with the financial insight needed for strategic decision making.

“From my first conversation with CEO Ray Lindley, I knew CapEd was where I wanted to be. CapEd’s commitment to its members and this community is what drew me to this role,” says Sanzana. “I look forward to partnering with Ray Lindley and the Board, bringing sound financial leadership to help CapEd continue their path as Idaho’s premier credit union.”

Sanzana earned his Bachelor of Science in Economics from California Lutheran University and is a recent graduate of Pacific Coast Banking School.

“From the initial conversation through the final offer, DDJ Myers provided invaluable support,” says Sanzana. “I’m grateful they identified this opportunity and guided me through every step of joining CapEd Credit Union.”
