SALT LAKE CITY — Children’s Miracle Network (CMN), Credit Unions for Kids (CU4Kids) and TruStage have announced the launch of the “40 Days of Giving” campaign, a nationwide fundraising initiative running Nov. 2-Dec. 11 that was created to celebrate the 40th anniversary of the CU4Kids movement.
“For four decades, credit unions across the U.S. have united under CU4Kids to change children’s health and their future,” the organizations said. “Since its inception, the program has raised millions to fuel life-saving treatments, breakthrough research, and family support services at member children’s hospitals.

Honoring a Legacy
“The 40 Days of Giving campaign honors this legacy by inviting credit unions, leagues, business partners, and members to take part in 40 days of purposeful fundraising, storytelling, and community engagement,” the organizations continued. “From round-up campaigns and employee giving to special events and social challenges, participants can help elevate the impact of CU4Kids and ensure children continue receiving the best possible care — no matter life’s circumstances.”
More Than an Anniversary
“Forty years of CU4Kids is more than an anniversary — it’s a testament to the people-helping-people philosophy that defines the credit union movement,” said Kristen Schavemaker, chief partnerships officer at Children’s Miracle Network. “The 40 Days of Giving campaign allows us to reflect on the life-changing impact credit unions have made while empowering communities to shape the next 40 years of miracles.”
And as a top fundraiser partner of CU4Kids, TruStage said has committed to a dollar-for-dollar match, up to $40,000.
