Corporate Central Hosts Annual Meeting; Hosts Interactive Discussion, Announces Board Changes

MADISON, Wis.– Corporate Central Credit Union brought together credit union leaders for its 45th annual meeting here, held in conjunction with The Wisconsin Credit Union League’s Annual Convention & Exposition. The event provided an opportunity to celebrate the organization’s progress, reflect on the evolving credit union landscape, and focus on the future of the movement, Corporate Central said.

Corporate Central said the annual meeting also marked an important leadership transition as Corporate Central recognized and celebrated the contributions of retiring board member Charlie Zanayed, who is retiring as president and CEO of CoVantage Credit Union  in Antigo, Wis. Throughout his tenure, Zanayed provided thoughtful leadership, strategic insight, and an unwavering commitment to strengthening the credit union movement, according to the organization.

“Charlie’s leadership and dedication have played an important role in Corporate Central’s success,” outgoing Board Chair Val Mindak said in a statement.. “We are deeply grateful for his service and wish him the very best in his retirement.”

‘Collaborative Discussion’

According to Corporate Central, a key highlight that followed the annual meeting featured a collaborative discussion between Corporate Central President/CEO Chris Felton and Sarah Wainscott, president/CEO of The Wisconsin Credit Union League.
