MANTL Says Platform Tops $40 Billion in Deposits, Cuts Account Opening Times
PLANO, Texas—MANTL, the account opening technology unit of Alkami Technology, said its platform has helped financial institutions attract more than $40 billion in deposits while reducing account opening times and saving more than 1 million hours in processing workflows.
According to Alkami, retail deposit accounts opened through the platform average less than five minutes, about three times faster than the industry average. Business deposit accounts average about 10 minutes, more than 23 times faster than industry benchmarks.

Benjamin Conant, Alkami’s chief product officer, said the results show financial institutions can improve both deposit growth and operational efficiency by automating account opening and reducing friction across digital and branch channels.
The company also highlighted several product enhancements introduced during the past year, including tools for application collaboration, opening multiple accounts in a single workflow, adding joint account owners at the start of an application, and configuring multiple authorized signers before account booking. Alkami said the features are designed to streamline operations, improve compliance and reduce post-booking work.
Members Mobile Launches Nationwide Wireless Service for Credit Unions
BROOMFIELD, Colo.—Members Mobile said it has launched a nationwide 4G/5G wireless service designed specifically for credit unions and their members, combining mobile service with digital banking features and account integration.
The credit union service organization said the service launches with Michigan State University Federal Credit Union as its founding partner and has agreements with 12 credit unions representing more than 2.5 million members.

Members can activate service digitally using eSIM or physical SIM technology, link an existing credit union account or open a new one through the platform, the company said. Additional features include Cash ShareBacks, Data SafetyNet and premium support.
Co-founder Gary Brandt said the offering extends the trusted relationship credit unions have with members into wireless service, while co-founder Luis Jimenez-Tunon said the platform aims to simplify household expenses.
Members Mobile cited J.D. Power data showing Americans spend about $141 per month on wireless service and said internal surveys indicate 66% of members could save more than $300 annually by switching.

The credit union said the implementation was completed on schedule and on budget following a collaborative rollout with Mahalo.

According to Firelands FCU, the new platform enables real-time updates between digital channels and the core system, eliminating delays and reducing manual processing. Members also gain faster external account linking and same-day ACH transfer capabilities.
Eric Seckel, senior vice president of operations at Firelands FCU, said the project benefited from clear communication and regular progress updates. Mahalo Chief Operating Officer Denny Howell said the implementation provides greater self-service capabilities for members while supporting the credit union’s long-term digital strategy.
Narmi Introduces AI Tool for Account Opening Reviews
NEW YORK—Digital banking provider Narmi announced plans to launch AI Decision Assist, an artificial intelligence tool designed to help banks and credit unions speed account opening reviews while maintaining regulatory oversight.
The company said the technology analyzes identity, risk and compliance information before generating recommendations for employees, with each recommendation designed to be fully auditable and explainable.

Narmi said institutions can configure the system to match their own risk tolerance and historical approval patterns. The company said the platform can reduce manual review times from hours to minutes, with early users reporting approval rates up to 6% higher.
Co-founder Chris Griffin said account opening remains one of the industry’s most labor-intensive processes and that the new tool is intended to streamline reviews rather than replace human decision-makers. Future enhancements are expected to include automated requests for supporting documentation during the application process.
Atlantic FCU Cuts Consumer Loan Processing Time to Six Minutes
PLANO, Texas—Atlantic Federal Credit Union has reduced consumer loan account opening times from as long as two days to an average of six minutes after implementing MANTL Loan Origination, according to Alkami Technology.

The company said the platform has helped the credit union achieve an 80% personal loan application submission rate, eliminate document collection for 67% of recently booked personal loans and automatically re-engage 80% of abandoned applications through reminder emails.
Chief Experience Officer Adam Cadmus said the automated process delivers a more seamless borrowing experience while supporting portfolio growth and cross-selling opportunities. Alkami said The Atlantic FCU was the first credit union to deploy the platform and participated in its development.
