DFCU Financial CU Expanding Footprint With Addition of 3 New Branches

DEARBORN, Mich.—DFCU Financial Credit Union said it has expanded its footprint in Michigan with the opening of three new branch locations as part of a broader effort to increase access to financial services across Southeast Michigan.

The credit union said the new branches include locations in Allen Park, which opened in fall 2025; White Lake, which opened in early 2026; and Bloomfield Township, which opened in May.

According to the $8-billion DFCU Financial, the expansion is part of its long-term growth strategy aimed at improving convenience, accessibility and personalized service for members.

“Growth is about more than adding locations. It’s about continuing to invest in the communities we serve and creating opportunities to build lasting relationships with our members,” President and CEO Ryan Goldberg said in a statement. “These new branches allow us to continue delivering the personalized service our members expect while expanding access to convenient banking solutions closer to where they live and work.”

Cash Back Program Highlighted

DFCU Financial said a key component of its member value proposition is its Cash Back program, which provides annual cash-back rewards to qualifying savers and borrowers based on their overall relationship with the credit union, including eligible deposits and loans.

The credit union said it has returned more than $500 million to members through the program over the past 20 years.

“As we grow into new communities, we are bringing more than branch locations. We are bringing a different approach to banking that puts value back into the hands of our members,” Goldberg said.

Grand Openings Held

DFCU Financial marked the openings with grand-opening events that included local radio personalities, food, entertainment, giveaways and pet adoption opportunities through partnerships with organizations including the Michigan Humane Society.

The events brought together residents, families and local businesses while highlighting the credit union’s commitment to community engagement, according to DFCU Financial.

The credit union said the new locations reinforce its commitment to investing in the communities it serves while supporting continued growth throughout the region.
