ROMEOVILLE, Ill. — Earthmover Credit Union ceremonially has broken ground on a new branch in Romeoville. This branch, which is expected to open in early 2027, will join Earthmover’s five full-service locations, in addition to a student-run branch. Further expanding Earthmover’s footprint and offering greater convenience for members, this branch will encourage new membership.
“Earthmover serves seven counties, including Will County,” Earthmover President/CEO Janel Cabadas said. “In our market analysis of our field of membership, this is a growing community that will allow us to extend our services to our members. Romeoville checks the boxes on many different levels.”
A cornerstone in the community since 1958, Earthmover provides competitive financial products and services, while also promoting a culture of financial wellness. The new branch will be located at 400 S. Weber Road, Romeoville. This location is easily accessible, positioned at the intersection of Airport Road and Weber Road.
“We are looking for growth and to better serve our community,” Janel said. “Investing in the Romeoville community by building a branch is the first step.”
Earthmover staff and board members took turns ceremonially breaking the ground with shovels and donning construction helmets. The Redmond Company, a Wisconsin-based integrated design and construction company that specializes in financial institutions, is spearheading the project. Construction will begin on June 1, 2026; the branch is expected to open in spring 2027.
Earthmover recently opened a new branch in Batavia, demonstrating a commitment to continual growth.
