First Tech to Host Grand Opening for New Experience Center

BELLEVUE, Wash.–First Technology Credit Union will host the grand opening of its new and modern, state-of-the-art experience center (XC) on April 2 at 555 108th Ave. NE, Ste. 110.

First Tech and City of Bellevue officials said they welcome the community to join them in celebrating at the branch from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., where there will be snacks and refreshments, giveaways, and a ribbon-cutting ceremony at 12:00 p.m. with Bellevue City Councilmember Jared Nieuwenhuis.

Financial Wellness & Community Support

According to the credit union, attendees will learn how First Tech can support their financial goals—whether they’re opening a first account, are a long-time member, or simply exploring financial options. For every member who opens a CD or new financial product during grand opening week, First Tech will make a $20 donation to The Sophia Way, a local nonprofit organization dedicated to ending homelessness for women.

“Being part of Bellevue’s dynamic tech scene once again is incredibly exciting for us. The close proximity to innovative industry leaders empowers us to stay at the forefront of technological advancements,” Jason Heupel, chief experience officer (CXO) at First Tech, said in a statement.  “We are honored to share this moment with our new neighbors and look forward to helping the tech community build a stronger financial future.”

Located in the heart of Washington State’s flourishing tech hub in the modern 555 Tower next to Amazon, the opening of the branch is well-timed to meet the growing demand among tech professionals for reliable and community-focused financial services.

Local tech workers will benefit from First Tech’s member-focused and technology-driven banking solutions, competitive loan rates, and personalized financial services. Larger businesses can enjoy commercial lending options and business accounts designed to support their growth and operational needs.

First Tech said it also recently launched its “Envision Future Finance™ program initially concentrated in Seattle, which focuses on helping the people of tech develop financial proficiency through financial wellness consultations, immersive learning, and educational content specific to tech from industry experts. Members and individuals exploring membership can take advantage of by-appointment financial wellness consultations virtually or in-person at any First Tech branch. Members can also benefit from appointments with First Tech Insurance Services and Addison Avenue Investment Services, which is a division of First Tech.
