BOULDER CITY, Nevada, USA—To celebrate International Credit Union Day, the CU Daily has for the first time brought together credit unions from around the world in a special, unique video in which credit unions introduce themselves and share greetings with their fellow credit unions from around the world.
In all, representatives of credit unions in Ukraine, Poland, Scotland, Kenya, Brazil, the United States, Canada, the Philippines, the Republic of Korea, and the World Council of Credit Unions itself are featured in the video.
“This is a first-of-its-kind International Credit Union Day tribute and the Credit Union Daily is proud to have been able to play a role in bringing everyone together,” said Frank J. Diekmann, Cooperator-in-Chief with the CU Daily. “Credit unions frequently speak about community and this video demonstrates a shared cooperative spirit across continents. It’s also a marvelous opportunity for credit unions in each country to see and hear from credit unions in other parts of the world.”
