FourLeaf FCU Partners With HerMoney to Expand its ‘Money Like a Woman’ Initiative

BETHPAGE, N.Y. — FourLeaf Federal Credit Union said it is partnering with HerMoney, the financial media platform founded by journalist and author Jean Chatzky, to expand its “Money Like a Woman” initiative with financial education, tools and resources.

The collaboration will bring educational content developed with HerMoney to the initiative’s website, FourLeaf said in a statement. The resources are intended to help women build confidence and make informed financial decisions throughout their lives.

The partnership launched with a podcast conversation between Chatzky and FourLeaf CEO Linda Armyn about women’s financial strengths and independence. FourLeaf also announced an introductory video featuring the two executives for its digital and social media channels.

“Money Like A Woman was created to change the conversation around women and money,” Armyn said.

Strengths & Challenges

Armyn said the initiative seeks to recognize women’s strengths in financial decision-making alongside the challenges they face. Chatzky said the collaboration would translate that philosophy into practical guidance relevant to women’s everyday lives.

The $14.4-billion FourLeaf’s initiative website now features content from the partnership, a financial personality quiz and a weekly newsletter. The newsletter includes guidance on making and saving money and an “Ask FourLeaf” section answering financial questions.

The credit union describes Money Like a Woman as an initiative inspired by women’s experiences that promotes financial inclusion and welcomes participation regardless of gender
