WASHINGTON, N.J. — TFD Consulting LLC is marking its 10th anniversary with a free educational webinar for credit unions and banks focused on vendor contract negotiations, the firm said.
The independent financial services consulting firm said “The Art of Contract Negotiations” webinar will be held Sept. 29 at 2 p.m. Eastern. The session will focus on key considerations for financial institutions when negotiating and managing vendor contracts.
Registration is required for the free webinar.

TFD Consulting also said it will award a complimentary review of one financial institution’s contract for Bank Secrecy Act and anti-money laundering compliance software. A webinar attendee will be selected at random to receive the review, with no charge to enter the drawing.
‘Wide Influence’
“Every signed contract exerts a wide influence across an institution’s operations, which explains why it’s imperative to ensure that the contract is consistent with that institution’s own policies, risk appetite, business goals, and legal responsibilities,” founder and CEO Thomas Dufner said in a statement.
Dufner said the webinar will draw on the firm’s experience negotiating contracts on behalf of financial institutions.
“For the past 10 years, safeguarding the interests of our clients and giving them peace of mind knowing that their business needs and goals were always at the forefront of the negotiation process was and always will define our work ethic and values,” Dufner said.
More Than $10 Million in Client Savings
TFD Consulting, a national consulting firm specializing in contract evaluations and negotiations, said its work generated more than $10 million in savings for clients last year.
The firm works with financial institutions to negotiate contract terms, reduce expenses, increase noninterest income, mitigate vendor risk and improve operational efficiency.
TFD Consulting said it plans additional events and initiatives tied to its 10th anniversary and will announce details as plans are finalized.
